Plettenberg Bay is 1 hour drive from George Airport, and 2+ hours drive from Port Elizabeth Airports. Several daily flights commercial flights are available to George and Port Elizabeth airports from both Johannesburg and Cape Town. DRIVE
Plettenberg bay is approximately 5+ hours drive from Cape Town, and 10+ hours drive from Johannesburg. Small car rental rates are relatively inexpensive by international standards - particularly if you rent from one of the airports. Refer www.avis.co.za. If you drive from Cape Town or Johannesburg, you may wish to overnight at one of the Karoo Guest Farms e.g www.skeiding.co.za or search for “farm” in Google Earth.
