Manana Beach Cottage comprises 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area.  Manana can comfortably sleep 6 people.  Two of the bedrooms and the lounge, kitchen, living area are sea facing and have recently been refurbished to the highest spec. The third bedroom is a spacious area at the back of the house (bathroom en suite), but does not have a sea view and has not been refurbished (but is nonetheless perfectly comfortable and habitable). The back suite would be better suited to teenage children and those not paying the rent.

The cottage is fully serviced by the resident caretaker Gladys who is also an excellent cook, and who will attend your every meal and housekeeping need, and laundry requirement. Manana is not run as a Bed and Breakfast in that you are required to buy food from the Spar shop 2km away (near Beacon Island) or Woolworths or any of the other well appointed grocery stores in Plettenberg town.  Aside from doing your shopping, Gladys will cater for your every need.  Be sure to ask Gladys to make sure that the Illy coffee is always freshly brewed, and that the tea or drinks trays are set and please feel free to request breakfast or meals whenever you return from the beach (meal times are completely flexible, and are often dictated by the beach weather and activities). Gladys will easily russell up English Breakfasts, Roasts, fish dishes etc,
In return for her service, please make sure that Gladys receives a proper gratuity at the end of your stay (10% of you grocery bill as a guideline).
